Youth Protection Training

Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers and is a joining requirement.

Youth Protection training is required for all youth on Summer Camp staff and/or National Youth Leadership Traning (NYLT) staff.

Youth Protection training must be taken every two years.

If an adult volunteer's Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the adult volunteer will not be re-registered.
Youth Protection Training can be completed online. Follow the steps below to complete Youth Protection Training.
Step One: Create a my.scouting.org account and tie your BSA Member ID to it.
Step Two: Complete Youth Protection Training
