Jamboree Application Process Delayed
From the National Jamboree Office: The application process for the 2010 National Scout Jamboree has be suspended until Tuesday, July 1.
While we have experienced success with applications received to date, issues have been identified and suggestions made as to how to improve the system and make it much more robust.
The decision to suspend the registration process will allow the development work, quality assurance testing, and changes to documentation to be completed in the next three weeks.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Eagle Scout Search Underway
The Boy Scouts of America and National Eagle Scout Association have launched an intensive Eagle Scout search to capture nearly 100 years of Eagle Scout history, tradition, service, and achievement.
Contracting through an outside party, the BSA and NESA will be publishing an exclusive Eagle Scout Roll of Honor as one ingredient of the Centennial Celebration of BSA scheduled for 2010.
In the weeks and months ahead Eagle Scouts from around the world will be contacted for updated information to include in the national registry.
Following completion of the fact finding initiative now underway, all data will be compiled in book form and will be available for purchase by Eagle Scouts and others.
There is no requirement; Eagle Scouts purchase a book to be included in the registry.
When contacted by Harris Connect, Inc., please respond quickly to assure your data is correctly entered in the registry.

Council Institutes Camp Usage Fees
The ever increasing costs of public utilities, fuel and insurance has necessitated that the Council introduce new Camp Usage Fees for Camp Hobbs and Camp Tukabatchee.
The fees will be in effect on July 1st for Camp Hobbs and Sept 1st for Camp Tukabatchee.
Every effort was made to keep camp costs low, while recovering a portion of our expenses.
